Persephone's - Pomegranite Cocktail

This Cocktail was an invention of a couple of friends that have a party buffet.      It didn't have a name, we used to call it Pomegranate Cocktail but one day, after a couple of them I decided to baptize it as Persephone's.

Persephone's in the Greek mythology is the daughter of the harvest-goddess Demeter.   She was abducted by Hades the God of the underworld.   Demeter while searching for her daughter, neglected the earth bringing the famine to earth.

Zeus feeling sorry for the humans forced Hades to return Persephone.   Hades obeyed but not before tricking Persephone to eat some Pomegranate seeds - as she tried food in the underworld she now was obliged to stay one third of the year there and that is when Demeter becomes sad again and winter comes.

Persephone fell for some Pomegranate seeds and so will you after trying this cocktail :-)  Cheers!
